Position Description
This position is to support the Sales Trading & Dealing team in business relationship development and responsible for maximizing revenues from Clients & Professional Investors. The overall objective is to drive revenue and to optimize profitability and resource utilization.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
Execute equity orders in various markets for professional clients in all covered markets
Maintaining close business relationships and developing new accounts to achieve maximum revenue
Handle client’s requests / enquiries and provide them with information on market movements
Liaise with dealers/ dealing team to perform trade execution for clients
Analyze market information and trends to identify optimal trading opportunities
Identify issues affecting clients’ investment decisions
Develop and maintain good relationship with the clients and present trading ideas to clients
Collect clients’ information and feedback to central clients’ database
Follow up client account/ sub-account opening documents requirement
Involve a role in Ad hoc Projects and system enhancement
Requirements
Postgraduate degree holder in related discipline
SFC licensed person with Type 1 and 2 and familiar with local regulatory and compliance requirements
5-8 years solid sales trading experience in equities and futures products
Experience in dealing with corporates, fund/investment managers and/or hedge funds
Familiar with OTC Bond, Funds and Structure Products trading; Virtual asset trading would be an addition
Experience in using Bloomberg with knowledge in Algo trading, DSA trading, Excel
Sales/ revenue result driven, able to work effectively under pressure and be a team player, client oriented and willing to work extended hours
Honestly, independent, creative and aggressive attitude
Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
