Sales Territory Manager
Huntsman is seeking a Sales Territory Manager supporting the Polyurethanes Division, covering Ontario, Canada. This role is remote, and the candidate must reside in Ontario. The position will report to the Canadian Vice President of Sales.
Job Scope
The Sales Territory Manager is a critical role within HBS that must, at a minimum, have solid experience in the construction or building materials industry, preferably with a background in spray foam or insulation. The individual must be able to maintain strong customer relationships within the assigned region and think strategically regarding pricing, competitive positioning, personnel, and company needs while performing the role in a safe and ethical manner. Bilingual abilities (English/French) are preferred but not required.
In summary, as the Sales Territory Manager, you will:
- Be responsible for driving spray foam sales to contractors and distributors in the assigned territory to achieve annual sales targets.
- Develop annual business plans that outline the activities needed to exceed quota.
- Meet regularly with clients to deliver the HBS value proposition and gain specifications.
- Participate in industry or promotional events.
- Demonstrate complete understanding of pricing and proposal models.
- Conduct intelligent, persuasive business conversations with business owners and decision-makers at the contractor, distributor, and specifier levels.
- Develop clear business proposals, negotiate, and execute business deals.
- Provide regular competitive intelligence updates, including in-kind and out-of-kind pricing and marketing strategies.
- Demonstrate proficiency in handling all administrative requirements, including timely email responses, expense submissions, pricing requests, performance management tasks, and related items.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in Canada.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in outside sales within construction or building materials; spray foam or insulation experience strongly preferred.
- The candidate must reside in Ontario, Canada (relocation will NOT be provided).
- Travel requirement is approximately 75% within Ontario with some overnight.

Salary Range:
Base 97,000-120,000 CAD
Commission: Uncapped based on budget targets (Approx 50% of base on average)
Working Environment
This is a remote field-based role requiring approximately 75% travel within the Ontario territory. The candidate must reside in Ontario, Canada.
