Job Summary
The Sales Support Associate plays a key role in supporting the estimating team by assisting with bid preparation and proposal development. This position is responsible for gathering project-specific pricing, coordinating with vendors, entering labor rates by geographic area, and preparing accurate, timely proposals. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the estimating team by assisting in the preparation of project bids and proposals
- Reach out to vendors to obtain project-specific pricing, quotes, and lead times
- Enter labor rates and cost data specific to project location and scope
- Compile and prepare professional proposals based on gathered information
- Maintain and build strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Develop and maintain product knowledge to support accurate estimating
- Track and organize pricing information, quotes, and documentation
- Assist with follow-ups and revisions as needed during the bidding process
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all bid-related information
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with strong data entry and documentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain positive vendor relationships
- Basic understanding of estimating, construction, or sales support processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay range: $24-$26/hour plus benefits
