Nordson Test & Inspection, a leading provider of advanced inspection and testing solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and talented Sales Support to join our team in Aylesbury, United Kingdom. Summary of the role

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where your ideas and contributions will be valued and respected.

  • Process and management of new systems and spare parts customer orders.

  • Communication with direct customers, distributors and regional sales offices on the processing and delivering of orders.

  • Arrangement of shipping/freight forwarding partners for safe and timely transportation of goods with appropriate paperwork.

  • Liaison with manufacturing to ensure goods are available for on time delivery to customers.

  • Pro-active communication keeping all parties informed of any changes affecting delivery schedules or plans.

  • Spare part management of both chargeable and warranty items

Role and Responsibilities

  • Processing complete system orders, spare parts orders, ensuring all relevant paperwork is in place and communicated efficiently and effectively to relevant parties.

  • Provide effective and efficient feedback and updates to both internal and external customers related to customer service activities.

  • Liaise with associated departments to ensure the customer/agents/subsidiaries receive timely sales order processing, appropriate delivery schedule, efficient query resolution, well organised collection and shipping

  • Generate credit notes

  • Generate invoices.

  • Generate reports and maintain data within Microsoft Excel, C4C and other databases.

  • Prioritize ‘machine down’ part processing requirements.

  • Follow company standard processes and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Good standard of general education.

  • Previous sales administration experience.

  • Experience with Logistics, shipping, customs clearance, import, and export.

  • Experience in a customer facing role and having the ability to establish good working relationships with customers.

  • Ability to organise and prioritise workloads within a dynamic and hectic environment.

  • Ability to act on own initiative, dealing with unexpected problems that arise.

  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with individuals at all levels

Travel

  • Occasional travel may be required.

  • Hybrid working; 2 days a week remote at home (depending on the work), 3 days a week at the office
