Descriptive Summary
The Sales Support Associate is responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service and ensuring timely responses to issues. This position provides primary support to the sales team based on specific geography and/or builder accounts.
Essential Functions

Partner with sales executive through the creation and maintenance of bid projects in the bid tool system.

Create and maintain material cheat sheets in the bid tool system using program information provided by the sales executive.

Run and validate rebate reporting to determine eligible rebates as agreed upon during the bid process.

Complete requested material usage reporting as requested by the builder.

Create pricing proposals as needed for models, residential construction, non-standard options, and special quotes.

Validate builder program materials are set up and extended in SAP for internal use.

Complete program maintenance in the bid tool system for showroom inventory.

Schedule and attend pre-construction and model meetings for assigned accounts and geography.

Review blueprints with Senior Account Executive (add cut flooring lines).

Monitors and reviews customer order activity and adjusts processes and strategies.

Provide high-level administrative and technical support by assisting the sales account executives.

Duties may include preparing reports, compiling statistics and other data using spreadsheets and tables, and other general clerical responsibilities.
Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Residential construction industry experience a plus.

Intermediate to advanced experience working with Excel.

Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and final solutions.

Organizational skills and attention to detail are critical as the individual will often face shifting priorities on multiple assignments.

Excellent verbal, presentation, and written skills; ability to communicate and document complex processes in a clear and concise manner.

Strong interpersonal skills to demonstrate teamwork, leadership, and flexibility while working with all levels of the organization.
