This position reports to:
Local Division Manager__
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support business, collaborate with different teams, and contribute to the company's strategic objectives. Each day, you will gain knowledge by performing tasks as directed by the program manager/corresponding leader. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and participating in the local Trainee Program.
The work model for the role is: hybrid
This role is contributing to the Motion business area in Panama.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Supporting the implementation, delivery, and continuous improvement of products and services within the defined area as directed.
- Participating in formal training to develop personal and leadership skills in preparation for future professional roles.
- Delivering the assigned tasks/projects within the assignment period.
- Contributing to diverse social events and team activities and using the chance to establish a broad network within ABB.
Qualifications for the role
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field (currently pursuing studies).
Ability to demonstrate your academic experience in electrical, electronic, or mechatronics engineering, with an interest in electric motor technologies and industrial applications.
Possess an enhanced knowledge of electric motors and their applications. Previous exposure through coursework, internships, or academic projects is highly valued.
You are passionate about learning new technologies, taking initiative, and contributing to a collaborative team environment. You are recognized for your proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and willingness to learn.
You are at ease communicating in English at an intermediate to advanced level, both written and verbal.
