Vermont Information Processing (VIP) is looking for a detail-driven, customer-focused Sales Support Specialist to join our Sales team. In this role, you’ll be the operational backbone of our sales function—keeping deals moving, data accurate, and customers informed. Position Type: Full time, hybrid 

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and presentations to support the sales team.
  • Maintain and update customer databases and CRM systems with accurate, up-to-date information.
  • Coordinate sales meetings and events—scheduling, logistics, and materials prep.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely information on products, pricing, and availability.
  • Generate sales reports and analyze data to surface trends and opportunities.
  • Assist in developing and rolling out sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, support, and implementation teams.
  • Manage sales documentation and keep files organized and accessible.

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a sales support or administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Sharp attention to detail with solid problem-solving instincts.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a professional, can-do attitude.

Compensation: $53,550 - $63,000/year

Compensation is based on a variety of factors including skills, experience, and industry background. The range listed here represents our best faith estimate for the role.
