Sales Support Specialist

Location: Maryland Heights, MO
Job Type: Full-time, in-office
Salary: $50,000 per year plus 10% annual incentive opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a Sales Support Specialist to help our sales team work more efficiently and grow. This role plays a key part in supporting day-to-day sales activities, managing leads, and keeping customer information accurate and organized.

You will work closely with the sales team to provide reliable support, help move opportunities forward, and ensure a smooth experience for customers.

What You’ll Do

Sales Support

  • Assist with project sizing, quote creation, and order processing
  • Support internal sales efforts and ensure timely follow-up

Lead Management

  • Research and identify new business opportunities
  • Assign and track incoming leads

Customer Support

  • Provide basic technical support and answer customer questions
  • Coordinate with production to ensure orders are handled properly

CRM Management

  • Maintain and update customer and sales data in Salesforce
  • Ensure records are accurate and complete
Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in customer service or sales support
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Able to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CRM systems, especially Salesforce
  • Comfortable making decisions and working independently
  • Basic technical aptitude

Work Environment

  • This is an in-office role based at our headquarters
  • Regular business hours
  • Primarily desk work with extended computer use
  • Occasional lifting up to 15 pounds

Travel

  • No travel required
