Sales Support Specialist

Verity IT is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time Sales Support Specialist to assist our sales team by validating and updating prospect information in our CRM system. In this role, you will ensure our CRM data is accurate, current, and optimized for sales outreach. This is a remote-friendly position requiring approximately 15-20 hours per week, ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a knack for data research and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Validation: Review and verify prospect information in the CRM, ensuring the accuracy of contact details, company information, and other relevant fields. In some cases, this may require calling the prospect to verify the information.
• Data Entry: Update missing or outdated prospect information by researching online sources, LinkedIn, or other relevant platforms and methods.
• CRM Management: Maintain the integrity and consistency of CRM records by adhering to data entry standards and protocols.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to prioritize updates for key accounts and ensure alignment with sales initiatives.
• Reporting: Provide daily/weekly updates on progress, including the number of records validated or updated and any key insights uncovered during the process.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve CRM processes and suggest enhancements for efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a sales support, administrative, or data entry role preferred.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and validation.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to research and verify information through online resources and verbal communication.
• Basic understanding of sales processes and pipelines is a bonus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a bonus.

Work Environment:

• Flexible, part-time hours that can be scheduled around other commitments.
• Remote position with the potential for occasional in-office meetings (if applicable).
