Founded in 1988, Allegiance Industries is a diversified, multi-divisional facility services provider specializing in janitorial, security, and electrical services. We serve clients across industrial manufacturing, pharmaceutical and cleanroom, healthcare, government, education, and retail nationwide — and our client relationships average well over a decade because of the standard we hold ourselves to.
We’re looking for a detail-driven, tech-savvy Sales Support Specialist to keep our proposal pipeline moving and our sales data clean. This is a full-time, in-office role based at our Columbia, SC office (939 S. Stadium Rd), Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. It’s a high-leverage position for someone who is comfortable living inside modern software tools and wants to be the engine behind a growing business development team.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Proposal & RFP Development

Build, format, and assemble professional proposals that respond directly to client and prospect requirements.

Track RFP, RFI, and bid deadlines across multiple opportunities, working backward from due dates to keep submissions on schedule.

Read solicitation documents closely, pull out the specific requirements, and shape each proposal so it answers exactly what’s being asked.

Maintain a library of reusable proposal content, boilerplate, and past responses so the team isn’t reinventing the wheel on every bid.
CRM Management & Data Hygiene

Own day-to-day CRM upkeep: updating records, logging activity, correcting and de-duplicating data, and keeping fields complete and accurate.

Review prospected work and incoming leads, route them appropriately, and flag opportunities for the sales team.

Run routine clean-up and data-quality checks to keep the CRM trustworthy as a source of truth.

Generate basic reports and lists to support pipeline reviews and outreach.
General Sales Support

Coordinate with business development, operations, and leadership to gather the inputs needed for accurate, compelling proposals.

Produce polished, client-ready materials and light marketing collateral.

Handle ad hoc administrative and data tasks that keep the sales function running smoothly.
This role is a strong fit for someone who is genuinely comfortable with software and learns new tools quickly.
Technical Skills

AI tools — Practical, hands-on experience using AI assistants (we use Claude) to draft, summarize, research, and speed up everyday work. You should be eager to use AI as a daily productivity multiplier, not intimidated by it.

Microsoft Excel — Solid working proficiency: formulas, sorting and filtering, cleaning and structuring data, and building simple reports. Comfort with larger data sets is a plus.

CRM software — Experience with a CRM platform (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar); able to navigate, update, and maintain records efficiently.

Canva (or similar) — A plus. Ability to put together clean, on-brand documents and graphics.

Strong all-around computer skills — You pick up new applications fast and aren’t fazed by switching between tools throughout the day.
