We are looking for a Sales Support Representative to provide real-time support to Customers for transactional (≤50K$) pump spare parts quotation and order review and handover, covering Europe and Africa. The role will work in direct contact to customer, closely aligned with End-User Sales teams, in order to keep a clear and effective commercial approach, and with Operations, to ensure consistent execution of Customer POs. He / She will act independently to execute the assigned tasks, with the objective to solidly sustain the spare part business development, ensuring to meet, and possibly exceed, the customer expectations.
The ideal candidate is an expert Customer Service / Commercial professional, who has matured a multiyear experience in similar positions.

Responsibilities:

  • Be accountable / responsible for Customer relationship.

  • Act as single point of contact for customers and sales about Pump Spare Parts Quotations and Orders management within the specific area of responsibility.

  • Be accountable / responsible for spare parts quotation activity, after clarifying the incoming requests of quotations, from technical and commercial standpoint. Leverage on pricing and interpretation as needed whenever prices/deliveries are not available in the systems. Ensure a consistent commercial approach, in line with market expectations. Ensure the offers are issued on time, respecting and possibly anticipating the due date. In case of delay, promptly inform counterpart about new expected delivery date.

  • Be accountable / responsible for Customer Portals.

  • Be accountable / responsible for T&Cs, SAP, C&C review and approval and any other legal and compliance requirement

  • Proactively recommend upselling, eventually involving the technical team for alternatives or complementary products.

  • Be accountable / responsible to review the PO originated by customers, ensuring full compliance to acceptable terms before transferring the PO to site.

  • Ensure all new spare part opportunities are duly loaded in Flowforce and synchronized with Trident.

  • Be accountable to follow up on the open opportunities; Visit customer in coordination with Sales Engineer if required, to duly support the negotiation process.

  • Monitor Customer satisfaction, taking adequate action to improve the Customer experience

Requirements:

  • Commercial and/or Technical Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Customer focused and solid commercial driven for results in a fast paced environment.

  • Interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, written and verbal, across different channels and audiences.

  • Able to effectively prioritize work instructions within a matrix organization to drive customer service levels.

  • Excellent Speaking & writing in English. Additional language will be a plus.

  • Strong problem solving skills, able to work independently and be a Team Player with an international mindset and approach.

  • Ability to multi task efficiently and set priorities in a fast paced environment.

  • Deep knowledge of main IT application tools, proficiency in MS Office packages (Excel, Power Point);

  • Availability to travel when required;

  • Knowledge of centrifugal pumps and/or rotating equipment, material specifications, metallurgy, inventory control, estimating knowledge and a general understanding of the sales cycle is a plus.

  • Co-op or Intern experience as a Quoting Resource with an industrial equipment manufacturer is a plus.
