  • Must be able to arrive at work between the hours of 4 AM to 6:45 AM depending on the route or schedule and work until the entire route is serviced or job completed.
  • Willingness to work with a flexible schedule with flexible hours.
  • Participate in weekend pull-up activities as scheduled; find a replacement if you cannot attend your assigned day.
  • Ability to lift 25 - 30 lbs. packaged beer and 160 lbs. kegs.
  • Knowledge of both alcoholic and non- alcoholic products.

  • Effective communication skills for both internal and external communication. Must be able to communicate with store personnel as well as Team Cone delivery and sales personnel and members of Team Cone management.
  • Work alongside and communicate daily with delivery drivers and or merchandisers.

  • Must be able to interact and multiple channels of trade, large and small format, on and off premise.
  • The ability to use Smart Phones, I Pads, or other similar electronic devices in the performance of job duties.
  • The ability to learn and work in route accounting software (Encompass). Need to know how to generate an order and trade out in Encompass.
  • Must be able to generate a hotshot order in Encompass in compliance with Cone Distributing’s off day delivery policy.
  • Need to be able to know how to properly complete a delivery using RAS (Encompass).
  • Must have the capability of accurately counting and entering in store inventories and the aptitude to interpret inventory numbers to produce an accurate sales forecast. Must meet or exceed the company average of inventory levels.
  • Complete and accurately fill out all assigned surveys and transmit thru Encompass. Complete all surveys on time as needed.
  • Properly stock coolers, back stock, shelves & refill displays to capacity as needed.
  • Build and maintain product displays as directed. Restock all warm & cold beer selling areas. Merchandise with corr-buff, signs & appropriate point of sale if account allows it. Maintain account back stock in orderly condition.
  • Must be able to understand and maintain Cone Distributing Retail Call and merchandising standards.
  • Some basic knowledge of Team Cone’s on-premise standards (10 Second Look).
  • Must possess a working understanding of the Quality Assurance Policy. - Both out of code and swap policy.
  • Code date systems must be thoroughly understood and strictly followed.
  • Maintain proper rotation standards on an ongoing basis when running relief routes or completing set activity.
  • Must be able to understand and sell the entire portfolio.
  • Working knowledge of Red Bull and DPSG selling standards to ensure execution against volume, distribution, and merchandising standards.
  • Must be able to read and interpret planograms.
  • Must have a basic knowledge of product adjacencies and product segments.
  • Will need to execute sets as planned. Any adjustments or changes to the plan need to be documented and communicated back to the Set Department Team lead or KAMs.
  • Must adhere to store procedures and policies regarding resets.
  • Ensure correct placement of reverse images if set lead or at independent sets.
  • Leave a copy of the set with the correct store personnel.
  • Ensure all new items are properly placed.
  • Properly stock coolers, back stock, shelves & refill displays to capacity as needed.
  • Properly remove of all trash involved in the set process, including cardboard, paper, and shrink wrap; stage unused pallets and soda trays for return as designated by the account.
  • Communicate any missing items to the correct sales personnel/ ASM.
  • Make sure that price labels are placed in front of the correct item. Communicate missing labels at store level for large format chains.
  • Have a working knowledge of both the Tagify and the Sign Track applications for ordering shelf tags and POS from the sign shop.  
  • Neatly stack and place any discontinued items for return in the proper area designated by the account, if applicable. Notify appropriate sales members on any items no longer in the planograms.
  • Timely follow up provided to ASMs or Sales Mangers on any issues encountered when running relief or completing set work.
  • Attend all cross -training events as scheduled.
  • Maintain appropriate dress (uniform) and personal appearance standards (dress policy).
  • Maintain assigned equipment (breakdowns, hand trucks, phone etc.) and vehicle. Report vehicle issues to the mechanic on duty immediately.
  • Maintain a safe driving record. Report any driving related issues to HR immediately.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding the sale and merchandising of malt beverages.
  • Attend all group and monthly sales meetings as scheduled.
  • Follow safety rules and use safety equipment daily.
  • Good math skills.
  • Frequent reaching, standing, bending, and walking.
  • Able to pass drug and background check.
  • Assist with other tasks as appropriate and/or as assigned by manager (hot shots, set work, deliveries, merchandising, the hanging of POS window film, cooler wraps, etc.)
  • Must possess a Class A CDL with a valid DOT certification card.
  • Must participate, communicate, and interact with Team Members, Vendors and Customers in a manner that will consistently enhance all Team Cone Core Values.
