What We Are Looking For:

The Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting the sales team in selling and promoting Bandwidth products and services.  The SE’s support includes developing the expertise to effectively demonstrate our products and services to prospective and existing customers.

What You'll Do:

  • Interface at all levels within a customer’s organization and coordinate highly technical information, business proposals and requirements
  • Gain trust and influence the customer buying process with technical knowledge and consultative selling skills
  • Provide feedback to the Product Manager on emerging customer requirements and new vertical markets
  • Gather, analyze, and share customer technical information and feedback
  • Deliver product-specific training to the Sales organization
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments
  • A thorough knowledge of Bandwidth’s products and services

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field or related experience
  • 1-3 years of engineering or technical experience with direct customer-facing responsibility
  • VoIP/Telecom experience preferred.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Ability to convey information clearly to help customers make buying decisions.
  • Ability to document complex issues in simple terms.
  • Aptitude to determine the most important benefits and articulate the value of our solutions.
  • Comfortable processing and analysing data
