The Sales Support & Deployment Specialist supports LionsBot USA’s sales organization by helping prospects and customers successfully evaluate, adopt, and deploy LionsBot autonomous cleaning robots. This role combines sales support, customer onboarding, robot demonstrations, site surveys, deployment planning, robot mapping, customer training, and field coordination.

The position works closely with Sales, Service, Technical Support, Operations, and Customer Success to ensure that demonstrations, pilots, trials, and new customer deployments are well planned, professionally executed, and aligned with customer goals.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role requiring strong communication skills, technical curiosity, attention to detail, travel flexibility, and the ability to train customer teams on the proper use and best practices of LionsBot robots and related software tools.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Support & Customer Engagement

     Support the Sales team with product demonstrations, customer presentations, site evaluations, sales trials, pilot programs, and customer follow-up.

     Assist with responding to customer questions, scheduling sales meetings, preparing pre-delivery details, and coordinating demonstration requirements.

     Work with Sales to understand customer goals, facility requirements, operational challenges, cleaning applications, and success criteria.

     Help customers understand robot capabilities, deployment requirements, best practices, and expected operational outcomes.

     Represent LionsBot professionally during customer visits, trade shows, demonstrations, training sessions, and remote meetings.

Deployment Planning & Site Coordination

     Coordinate and schedule site surveys, demonstrations, customer trials, installations, onboarding sessions, and deployment activities.

     Collect and organize customer site details, floor plans, application requirements, access instructions, delivery needs, and installation readiness information.

     Develop practical deployment plans that align with product guidelines, customer goals, safety requirements, and best practices.

     Communicate deployment schedules and requirements to customers, internal teams, service technicians, sales team members, and other stakeholders.

     Prepare and inspect materials, paperwork, equipment, checklists, and work orders needed for successful demonstrations and deployments.

     Manage equipment delivery coordination for demonstrations, installations, trials, and customer onboarding activities.

 Robot Mapping, Commissioning & Training

     Program robot maps for onsite sales trials, demonstrations, and customer deployments.

     Commission robots on site, including map creation and design, cleaning zone programming, testing, functional calibration, and deployment validation.

     Train customer teams on robot operation, safety, cleaning workflows, best practices, and use of LionsBot software and reporting tools.

     Provide onsite support to reinforce best practices, improve customer confidence, and ensure strong robot functionality after deployment.

     Conduct follow-up training and consulting to identify adoption issues, reinforce best practices, and support customer satisfaction.

     Complete company product training in both virtual and in-person environments and apply that knowledge in the field.

Remote Assistance & Technical Coordination

     Provide remote assistance to customers, sales team members, technicians, dealers, and internal teams during demonstrations, pilots, deployments, and onboarding.

     Document technical questions, customer concerns, deployment issues, and support needs and escalate them to Service or Technical Support when required.

     Collaborate with Service and Technical Support to ensure issues discovered during deployment are properly communicated and resolved.

     Ensure accuracy and completeness of work orders, deployment notes, customer training records, and follow-up actions.

     Maintain regular communication with customers and internal teams by phone, email, video meetings, and in-person visits.

Training Content & Process Support

     Support the development of internal training modules, customer training materials, deployment guides, onboarding checklists, and external training courses.

     Provide feedback to Sales, Service, Product, and leadership regarding customer needs, deployment challenges, product usability, and improvement opportunities.

     Help improve deployment processes, documentation, customer onboarding standards, and communication workflows.

     Maintain regular, reliable and punctual attendance and support other duties as assigned by management.

 

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

     Successful completion of demonstrations, trials, installations, and customer deployments.

     Customer training quality and onboarding satisfaction.

     Deployment readiness, schedule accuracy, and follow-up completion.

     Quality and completeness of work orders, site details, training records, and deployment documentation.

     Support of sales opportunities through demonstrations and pilot execution.

     Timely communication with customers, Sales, Service, and internal stakeholders.

     Reduction of deployment-related issues through proper planning and customer training.

     Professional customer experience during field visits, remote support, and onboarding activities.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

     2+ years of professional experience in customer onboarding, sales support, field operations, technical support, customer training, service coordination, or a similar customer-facing role.

     Experience leading adult training, customer education, product demonstrations, or in-person/remote customer support.

     Travel regularly throughout the United States and North America, up to 75% as business needs require.

     Work from the LionsBot USA office when not traveling.

     Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and related business tools.

     Strong professional presence, phone manner, written communication, and group presentation skills.

     Ability to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis.

     Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local customer visits and field activities.

     Currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

     Ability to successfully complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, including background checks and motor vehicle record review.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

     Experience with robotics, autonomous cleaning equipment, commercial cleaning equipment, facility services, automation, or technology-based products.

     Experience conducting product demonstrations, customer site surveys, installation coordination, or deployment planning.

     Experience creating strong business relationships with customers, dealers, service teams, and internal stakeholders.

     Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric approach.

     Ability to work successfully independently as well as part of a fast-moving team.

     Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and dedication to finding practical solutions.

     Natural interest in robotics and technology and willingness to learn how products work in detail.

     Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to support a growing organization.

     Experience in startup or growth-stage environments preferred.

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

This role requires regular travel to customer sites for demonstrations, site surveys, trials, installations, onboarding, training, and deployment support. Travel may be up to 75%, with occasional evening or weekend travel depending on customer and business needs. When not traveling, the role will work from the LionsBot USA office.
