Under the direction of the Vice President of Supply Chain, responsible for the implementation and execution of vendor Supports company wide. Duties will also include data management of our Mini Bulk program and assistant to corporate managers for other miscellaneous projects.
Job Description:Work with and communicate regularly with suppliers on managing the price support process and maintaining good standing business relationships.
Work with accounting to ensure follow up on Brenntag suppliers’ price support commitments.
Manage daily reconciliation of ethanol inventory.
Help to manage and maintain the mini bulk database under the direction of the VP of Supply Chain.
Maintain and manage monthly vendor prices supports, inventory reconciliation reports, and supplier ending support report.
Provide quarterly updates including, but not limited to mini bulk reports. Provide administrative support to Southern Vice President, Supply Chain Department, and LA Basin Sales Managers and Account Managers when needed.
Represent Brenntag in a professional manner.
Other duties as assigned.
High School Degree or GED
3+ Years of relevant work experience
Proficient level of skill in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. Working knowledge of BUS helpful.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
Ability to read, comprehend and carry out detailed and simple instructions and write simple correspondence.
Ability to prioritize work to meet time-sensitive deadlines.
Possess excellent written/oral communication skills.
Thorough understanding of the importance of customer service and the ability to work cooperatively with other branches, departments, and personnel in meeting customer needs.
