Brief Description
The Senior Field Sales Representative represents Ulterra Drilling Technologies ethically and professionally at the field level. This role is responsible for growing revenue and market share, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, capturing performance data, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, on-call environment.
Detailed Description
Call on all rigs within the assigned area with consistency and professionalism
Build, maintain, and grow strong relationships with customers and company representatives
Grow revenue and market share within the assigned territory
Capture accurate performance data and achieve a minimum of 95% monthly bit record collection meeting quality standards
Maintain 100% inventory accountability through proper documentation and procedures
Complete and submit all required reports including daily reports, expense reports, vehicle inspections, and revenue reporting by established deadlines
Maintain open daily communication with Sales Supervisors, Applications Engineers, Account Representatives, and District Managers
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of market conditions including customer activity, rig count, market share, drilling conditions, and future opportunities
Analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop forecasts to support sales strategies and revenue goals
Understand customer needs and develop tailored technical and commercial solutions
Maintain a safe, clean, and properly serviced company vehicle
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a professional appearance as directed by management
Continually learn about applications and Ulterra products and coach or train others as needed
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of five years of field sales or related industry experience
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to navigate maps and use GPS technology
Preferred Certifications
College degree
Additional Details
This is a 24-hour on-call position that requires frequent field presence. The role involves physical activities such as bending, stooping, sitting, and walking. Candidates must have visual acuity, hand and finger dexterity, and the ability to communicate effectively, including talking and hearing with both close and distant vision. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.
