About the Role:
As a member of the OPIS Sales Operations Team, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and analyzing reports critical to the operations of the OPIS sales team. You will assist sales teams with sales order tasks such as documenting process changes, creating orders, sending contracts for signature, obtaining approvals for discounts, and other critical order processing functions to ensure delivery. You will sit within the Sales Operations Team, which works with the entire sales organization to enhance the overall operating efficiency and excellence of the sales team. You will also work closely with other members of the sales team, Dow Jones order management team, legal team, product team, and finance team. You will report to the OPIS – Sales Support Manager.
You Will:
- Provide support and administrative coordination on the sales/renewal process for Sales teams, including Sales Management
- Discuss and explain contractual guidelines of OPIS products with account managers, finance, product managers, sales leadership, product delivery, and sales operations
- Help with the preparation and distribution for client legal agreements, attachments, proposals, purchase orders and business correspondence
- Process signed and executed renewal contracts in Salesforce system
- Process product or service cancellations
- Maintain and meet all contracts requested by the account manager on behalf of the client
- Research and resolve product delivery and invoicing challenges on behalf of the customer/account manager
- Train junior sales support team members
- Create and maintain sales performance related spreadsheets and/or databases for Sales Management monthly
- Submit information to order validation (OV) related to client cancellations and client data updates (i.e. edits/changes to contact information)
- Work with sales to reconcile outstanding orders awaiting information and purchase order (PO) required for revenue recognition
You Have:
- 2-4 years’ experience within a sales organization in sales administration, sales support, customer service, or a similar role
- Experience supporting and processing contracts
- Supported multiple business lines
- Documented processes and procedures
- Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Salesforce/Netsuite competency

Pay Range: $55,000 - $70,000
