Job Summary: The Sales Supervisor builds relationships with retail customers to provide them with expertise in our products and service. Works closely with the Sales Manager to provide feedback, strategies, and execution of sales goals and processes.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Lives and models BROWN VALUES in everything we do.
- Works closely with sales staff to provide support in any way needed.
- Reading and understanding planograms.
- Provide direction, coaching and feedback to sales team members.
- Knowledge of electronic sales device and company programs.
- Execute local and national marketplace initiatives to maximize sales performance.
- Implement strategies, processes, and programs in support of company objectives.
- Interviewing, training, and onboarding of new staff.
- Program and policy execution.
- Professional development for self-improvement.
- Assist the Sales Manager in special projects and daily tasks.
Physical Demands:
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs. continuously and 60 lbs. intermittently.
- Must be able to bend, stoop and climb on a frequent basis.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
- Driving company or personal vehicle to travel between customer locations.
- Enter and exit the vehicle multiple times during the day.
Work Environment:
- Work in many different environments: outside, inside, stores, warehouse
- Exposed to cold, hot, and rainy conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and approved driving record.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales or merchandising environment
- Demonstrated leadership qualities.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- High level of organization with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and handheld computer operation
