What you’ll do

We are seeking a technically sophisticated and detailed oriented individual who will serve as a Sales Strategy and Operations Data Analyst in support of both the AMER and Global Platform business. This person will be responsible for improving the quality of sales analytics and insights, including standardization of reporting and scalability across segments and regions with the primary objective of enabling sales, product, and other GTM leadership to make effective, analytically driven decisions. You will work with Sales and Product Leadership and global Platform Sales Operations business partners to drive the operational cadence and strategy/planning of the business.

Responsibilities
  • Operating Cadence: Execute on a standard weekly, monthly and quarterly cadence of operations (weekly forecasting calls, monthly business reviews, quarterly business reviews)
  • Business Insights: Develop a deep understanding of Stripe’s Platform business and its sales funnel across user segments and geographies. Monitor the progress, health, and sustainability of the overall strategy.  Provide actionable insight and strategic perspective on business performance to help inform key decisions across GTM teams. Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to business leads and influence strategic decision-making
  • Strategy / Planning: Analyze sales and revenue data and other metrics to build models and provide actionable recommendations to shape the strategy during the annual planning process (resource planning, territory design, target/quota setting and management)
  • Program and Process Management: Independently develop and manage project or program plans to support asks from key stakeholder and core operational planning processes. Manage Platform wide operational processes and programs including but not limited to sales territory development
  • Scalable Insight: Conceptualize, build, manage and maintain centralized tools (including spreadsheet models, dashboards) that the business and Sales Strategy and Operations team can use to extract data / insights for daily business management in an automated manner to drive current and future rhythms of business. As a result of insights, identify and improve the usability and accessibility of insights from existing systems and tools, in collaboration with respective development teams
Who you are

We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

  • 4+ years of work experience in B2B sales strategy and operations and/or business analytics, business strategy/operations, data science, investment banking, management consulting, and/or related domains
  • Strong analytical skills, business intuition and a structured approach to solving complex business problems including experience in Salesforce (or other CRM), advanced SQL, Google Sheets modeling
