What You’ll Need
- 5+ years professional experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, Product Operations, Business Consulting, Investment Banking, or similar
- Strong technical skills and background ; Excel and SQL required ; you have familiar with data structures and systems
- Process-driven instincts with extremely high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- You have interest or experience in real estate & interests and hobbies outside of real estate
- Highly self-motivated, have a stellar work ethic, and you’re looking for the right company to support your growth
- OK with occasional weekend work

About the Role
As a Sales Strategy and Operations Lead with the partnerships team, you will work with a small but highly experienced team, focused on launching, improving, and scaling our partnerships. You will work cross functionally with business operators, product managers, analysts, and field leadership to drive change for our sales force and our customers. Projects will vary in scope but will involve developing policies and procedures, enhancing tools and processes, compliance and OKR tracking.
You’ll have the opportunity to play a material role in the development of the team as we grow, and you’ll get first hand exposure to key players in the Real Estate industry -- from Homebuilders to Agent Brokerages to Online Real Estate platforms. In turn, we’re looking for dynamic team players who can wear multiple hats, and aren’t afraid to roll-up their sleeves to help us quickly scale.
You will play a critical role in supporting overall partnerships business, by ensuring the team has the right tools, data, processes, and strategies to achieve our business goals.
What You’ll Do
Collaboration:
- Partner within the partnerships team and outside of it; you’ll work closely with
- Our head of partnerships strategy & operations, business leads, and sales org
- Cross-functionally within Opendoor with product, engineering, analytics, and more
- Directly with partners to understand and address their needs
- Your ability to collaborate with others will be essential to driving outcomes
Tooling & Technology:
- Manage and enhance our tooling to ensure we are meeting staff and partner needs; think like a product manager and execute like an operator
- Work with key stakeholders to drive alignment on solutions, roll-out changes, ensure adoption & maintenance, and gather feedback
Functional & Industry Expertise:
- Go deep to become a subject matter expert on our operators, partners, and industries
- Determine opportunities for improving the sales tactics, collaborate with sales managers to implement and iterate accordingly
- Develop and maintain sales playbooks, job aids, templates, and scripts for each stage of the sales process
Operational Excellence & Analytics:
- Design and communicate charters, pilot plans, and roll-out plans to help inform and align stakeholders
- Track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of sales enablement investments and initiatives
- Respond to escalations and troubleshoot bugs/issues
Impact and Scope:
- Deftly drive full projects and complex work streams to impact metrics and goals at the full team level
- Pitch in however you can when needed. We're a lean team working in a fast-paced environment; when things break you'll be a key player in diagnosis, resolution, and long term solutioning.
Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The U.S. pay range for this position is $130,400 - $163,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We also offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, 12 paid holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, basic life insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
