Job Summary:
Under general direction, promotes and sells the organization's products and services within an assigned
geographic area, product range, or list of customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pursues sales leads by visiting existing and new customers; assesses customer needs and suggests appropriate products and services; responds to customer inquiries; negotiates prices and delivery times within limits of authority; and concludes sales orders to meet revenue targets.
- Identifies, researches, and contacts prospective customers and builds positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business. Maintains detailed prospective customer service list.
- Refers sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts
within the organization so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands. - Completes, maintains and ensures adherence to policy, contract and related information as outlined
in DPAM standard processes. - Supports and attends regional sales meetings, trade shows, open houses and lunch & learn meetings/marketing events to support the customers’ business.
- Participates in the development of annual original and revised sales plans and budgets as they relate to assigned accounts.
- Coordinates communications, marketing tools and promotions for assigned accounts.
- Assists on special projects as directed by department management.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent presentation skills
- Excellent customer service skills with an ability to approach every business relationship as a
partnership - Excellent problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to address customer issues and partner on resolutions
- Good analytical skills
- Excellent negotiation skills and an ability to resolve situations while making a point firmly and seeking a positive outcome for both sides
- In-depth understanding and demonstrated competency in working with computer software and
mainframe applications to manipulate, analyze and reconcile data

Annual Salary: $68,000 - $84,000
