This position reports to:
Sales Manager__
Your role and responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for front-end sales activities across ELSB / SP, managing Channel Partners in South Malaysia, as well as handling Direct Accounts. You will deliver sales growth by meeting qualitative and quantitative targets in line with the division strategy to ensure sustainable order intake, revenue growth, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also focus on identifying and developing new sales opportunities within the assigned territory.

This role contributes to the ELSB / SP business. Main stakeholders include Channel Partners, Direct Customers, Internal Sales Teams, and External Stakeholders.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Managing front-end sales for ELSB / SP through both channel partners and direct customer engagement in South Malaysia.
Communicating effectively with customers regarding delivery timelines, pricing, payment terms, and general terms and conditions in line with ABB’s offerings and strategy.
Identifying, developing, and pursuing new business opportunities while ensuring effective external stakeholder management.
Managing sales administration, supporting cash collection, and contributing to project management activities as required.

Qualifications for the role:
Demonstrated experience in Front-End Sales within industrial, electrical, or automation-related products and services.
5 to 8 years of relevant sales experience, with demonstrated ability in managing channel partners and direct accounts.
Experience working in an individual contributor (IC) role, handling responsibilities with minimal oversight.
Clear communication and basic negotiation skills, with the ability to manage customers and external stakeholders effectively.
Educational qualification: Any Engineering degree, or any Degree/Diploma.
Comfortable with extensive travel (up to 80%) to support customer engagement and business development activities.
Ability to communicate effectively in English; additional regional language proficiency.
