As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for engaging with eligible businesses to sell our products.
Work Hours: Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
This role requires in-person attendance
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Make a high volume of outbound calls daily to previously contacted leads that did not convert, with the goal of re-engaging interest and initiating a new funding application.
- Work exclusively on cold outbound call campaigns targeting older, previously worked leads, requiring high resilience, strong objection-handling skills, and the ability to consistently revive interest and convert disengaged prospects into active funding applications.
- Continuously improve sales skills, product knowledge, and objection-handling techniques through coaching and feedback.
- Maintain high sales performance while strictly adhering to all internal compliance policies, call quality standards, and regulatory requirements, ensuring ethical, accurate, and consistent communication with all prospects.
- Re-qualify prospects by understanding their current business situation, funding needs, and any changes since prior contact.
- Learn and retain detailed knowledge of each prospect’s business, including industry, challenges, and growth goals.
- Identify specific pain points and opportunities where the company’s funding products can support or improve the prospect’s business operations.
- Clearly and confidently communicate the value of the company’s funding solutions in a way that aligns with the prospect’s business needs.
- Guide interested prospects through the next steps of the application process and set clear expectations for follow-up.
- Accurately document call outcomes, prospect details, and next steps in the CRM system.
Consistently meet or exceed daily call, conversation, and engagement targets. - Collaborate with closers and sales leadership to ensure smooth handoff of qualified prospects. Along with working with closers to obtain the required documents to finalize the funding process when needed.
- May be required to perform other tasks and duties reasonably related to job responsibilities.
Experience/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- C1 English level proficiency and fluency.
- A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent client relationship skills.
- Previous Sales and/or Customer Service representative experience preferred.
- Previous experience in Finance is preferred.
- Strong phone sales skills, combined with analytical thinking, are essential.
- Ability to confidently handle high-volume outbound cold calling with consistency and energy.
- Strong resilience and persistence when working older, previously contacted leads.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Proven ability to overcome objections and re-ignite interest from disengaged prospects.
- Active listening skills to uncover business needs, pain points, and funding opportunities.
- Sales mindset with a results-driven, competitive attitude toward daily and monthly KPIs.
- Strong time management and organization skills in a fast-paced call environment.
- High attention to detail for accurate data entry and CRM documentation.
- Ability to enthusiastically represent the company and its service.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a reasonable amount of time. Reliable and trustworthy.
- Fast learner and can think quickly on their feet.
- Ability to quickly learn and retain knowledge about small business operations and industries.
- Ability to remain compliant with internal policies, call standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Coachable attitude with willingness to accept feedback and continuously improve.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with closers and sales leadership.
- Cold calling and prospecting experience is highly desirable.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce and other CRM tools.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Word and Excel.
