Wolt is a Finnish technology company and until recently, we’ve been best known for our food delivery platform. On our mobile app or website, customers can order their favorite meals from our restaurant partners, and either pick their food up or have it delivered by our courier partners.

Job Description

Are you an experienced junior sales professional with a passion for acquiring new partnerships and expanding into new territories? Do you thrive on building strong networks with restaurant owners in your city? If this resonates with you, then we have an incredible opportunity waiting for you!
Wolt is a technology company that makes it incredibly easy to discover and get the best restaurants, grocery stores and other local shops delivered to your home or office. We were founded in 2014 and joined forces with DoorDash in 2022 - of the 27 countries that DoorDash operates in today, 23 are with the Wolt product and brand. Our apps (iOS and Android) have the industry’s highest reviews, largely because of our customer-centric approach to how we build our products and operations. For example, our customer service team responds in a matter of seconds, in the customer’s own language.
As Wolt continues its remarkable growth trajectory in Sweden since entering the market in 2016, we are currently seeking a dynamic Sales Specialist professional to spearhead the expansion and development of Wolt's restaurant portfolio in existing and new areas across Sweden.
As the ideal candidate, you will be an ambitious and self-motivated salesperson, driven by exceeding your own sales targets and constantly seeking personal growth and improvement. Your outgoing and communicative personality enables you to effortlessly connect with diverse individuals, effortlessly forging long-lasting relationships.

In this role, you will explore the market to uncover and prospect untapped sales opportunities to create new partnerships with restaurants that align with Wolt's vision. Your process will look like this:

  • Research the market
  • Systematically manage your pipeline of new potential partnerships by building relationships with the identified restaurants.
  • Understanding the performance of different restaurants - called 'Venues' - to set and negotiate profitable business partnership terms.
  • Acquire new venues in our existing cities by phone or canvas.
  • Close deals over the phone and book physical meetings.
  • Sell the Wolt product to restaurant owners on-site.

You will have to demonstrate exceptional communication skills while collaborating closely with all relevant internal departments. You will also be traveling to other cities across the country approximately up to 75% of the time.

Qualifications

  • ...and we really want kickstart it together if you can showcase the following:
  • 1-2 years of experience in communicating with B2B and B2C customers - both over the phone or in the field.
  • Sales is your passion, and a "no" only fuels your drive to achieve a resounding "yes". That is because you possess a natural "hunter" instinct and will stop at nothing to secure a meeting with a potential business owner.
  • Networking and relationship building comes naturally to you, and shyness and quietness are not part of your vocabulary.
  • You thrive being in an environment where you have high ownership and ambition to go beyond the obvious.
  • You’re a team player, with a positive attitude and love to be involved.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English. And you will be even more interesting if you have proficiency in a third language, such as Kurdish, Arabic, or Turkish
