Position Title: Sales Specialist                             

Reports To: Director of Sales

Department: Guest Experience

Classification:  Year-Round, Full Time                                                   

FLSA Status: Non-exempt


 

Position Overview

The purpose of the Sales Specialist is to provide the highest level of guest service and delivery for Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) group, banquet, wholesale, and ticketing clients. This position will ensure accurate and efficient fulfillment, delivery and execution of services for group and wholesale/resale business channels, as well as assisting in the guest services and ticket office as needed.  

 


Job Duties

  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge necessary for answering guest inquiries and modifications.
  • Work closely with Sales Manager, Sales Director, Guest Experience Director, and Ticketing Manager, as well as coordinating with other departments throughout the resort, wholesale and lodging partners, and merchant program.
  • Responsible for helping with group proposals and bookings that may include lift tickets, lodging, Rentals, MSS, F&B and any other ancillary services requested.
  • Respond in a timely manner to group, lodging, wholesale phone calls. Manage lodging@, groups@, and racetickets@ email accounts.
  • Support wholesale and resale accounts which include all JHMR products through resale partners in domestic and international key markets.
  • Coordinate printing and delivery of lift tickets (wholesale, lodging, season passes and jstore orders) – delivery of tickets includes driving to various locations in Teton County.
  • Support ticketing services to ensure front-lines of guest services are staffed and managed as needed.   
  • Manage billing and reconciliation for group accounts.
  • Maintain files, accounts, paperwork as necessary.
  • Assist with tracking goals, reports, and budgets.
  • Assist with FAM itineraries, packing and execution of shows, events and missions which require outside travel.
  • Special projects as directed, along with sales outreach and group responsibilities.
  • Attending relevant meetings.
  • Understanding contracting for group services, wholesale and lodging partners to assist with operational and billing components.
  • Pass office management and supervision.
  • Employees are held accountable for all duties of this job.

  • Ability to ski or snowboard on intermediate terrain.
  • Ability to drive a motor vehicle in varying weather conditions.  
  • High School or GED required 
  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable record of sales leadership experience required.
  • Minimum three years of professional office sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

  

Expected Hours of Work

  • This job is year-round full time and typically works during day time business hours; however, work will be required on evenings and weekends. Schedules and hours may fluctuate depending on business need.
  • Potential travel to sales/ski shows representing JHMR.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license or passport
