This Position reports to:
Sales Manager
Your Role: Own the Challenge
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of products, systems, and services within the assigned OEM market, in alignment with the Division strategy. You will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also identify and develop new sales opportunities within the Pacific Region.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid
Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.
This role is contributing to the Motion Drive Products Business Line in Mexico.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery times, payment terms, and commercial conditions in line with ABB’s offerings and sales strategy.
- Execute effective marketing activities and clearly communicate ABB’s value proposition to OEM customers.
- Identify, develop, and drive new market and business opportunities within the assigned OEM territory.
- Manage administrative activities within the sales process, supporting cash collection and project‑related tasks when required.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in OEM sales and 5+ years of total sales experience.
- Proven experience selling VFDs, PLCs, and HMIs to OEM customers.
- Experience within Food & Beverage, Water & Wastewater, and HVAC industries.
- Experience managing sales activities using Salesforce and preparing monthly sales reports and developing business plans for OEM customers.
- Technical knowledge of VFDs, PLCs, and HMIs is desirable.
- Experience working for multinational companies is a strong plus.
- Intermediate English proficiency is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechatronics, Electronics, Control & Automation Engineering, or a related field.
