We need a high-energy go-getter with a proven track record in sales to help our customers improve their experiments using our novel analytical products in their lab.
The Job
You will own the sales activities in Japan territory for the Sunshine, Sunscreen, Sunbather and Leprechaun products, plus their associated consumables and service items. You will determine how to best achieve and exceed the quota for the territory, working with colleagues and field-based technical and support resources as needed. You will qualify leads, prospect based on your own network, and meet with customers to understand their R&D challenges. You will also provide business reviews and forecasts for the territory and collaborate with other go-to-market colleagues to ensure customer feedback is heard within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Sell Unchained Labs LNP and Gene Therapy instruments in Japan
- Sell Leprechaun and Sunny suites for all of Japan opportunities as specialists
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
- Maintain a high-level of technical knowledge for the Unchained Labs’s product line
- Proactively generate new leads and opportunities, and quickly respond to marketing delivered leads
- Develop key accounts within assigned territory
- Navigate orders through the customer purchasing process
- Update Salesforce CRM system regularly and provide weekly sales forecasts to Management
- Maintain positive customer relations
- Maintain dealer’s knowledge for Unchained Labs’s product line and manage their performance.
- Conduct pre-sales seminars, technical presentations, and instrument demos. Work with field application scientists as needed to dazzle the customer with our systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related science field
- 3-5 year’s sales experience in the life sciences tools industry selling laboratory instrumentation
- Understand Drag delivery system market, especially LNP and Exosome applications
- Demonstrated track record of sales performance and exceeding quota
- Travel up to 40% overnight when required
- English fluency required (written and verbal)
- Experience with MS Office applications and Salesforce databases is desired
