At Grid & Power Quality Solutions and Service business at Hitachi Energy in Europe (HBUEU), Inclusion drives our culture of innovation and collaboration. In this role, you are part of the European sales team of our Grid Integration business. The position is responsible for the development and implementation of a sales strategy for our e-mobility portfolio in the UK market. In addition to the UK market, you support the sales teams in other adjacent markets like Ireland. Whether charging infrastructure solutions for local public transport, private vehicle fleets or even heavy goods transport, you capture and analyse customer and market requirements and lead the customer project from the first consultation to the award of contracts. Early interactions with existing and potential customers to jointly develop projects is key to successfully filling this position. You will be supported by our Bid & Proposal Team and the Center of Competence E-Mobility. The site has a high visibility within the Hitachi Energy UK Organisation and therefore offers excellent development opportunities.
Location, (Remote) with travel to Birmingham and other project sites

How you'll make an impact:
- Development, planning and implementation of local sales strategies for the e-mobility portfolio on the UK market, and Irish market.
- Support sales teams in adjacent markets.
- They build an industry-specific network, maintain close customer communication, identify projects at an early stage and develop them together with our customers and potential partners.
- They negotiate with customers or partners, are responsible for technical and commercial investigations and win projects for our company.
- Coordinate market analysis, evaluate customer needs, market conditions and competition data, and create forecasts and plans.
- They build and maintain close relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- You will cooperate internally with our area sales department for active market processing. You will be supported by our Bid & Proposal Team and the Center of Competence for E-Mobility in the development of technical solutions and offers.
Your Background:
- Bachelor's degree or a higher degree and /or relevant technical professional experience
- Technical understanding in the field of energy technology and charging infrastructure.
- Strong affinity for commercial issues (added value for customers, business model, etc.)
- Knowledge of regulatory issues in the energy industry, as well as existing market knowledge.
- Fluent mastery of English in word and writing for secure internal and external communication.
- Willingness to travel to visit customers, mainly in UK and Ireland.
- Professional experience in the e-mobility environment, preferably in a sales function is desirable
