Job Description

Sales Specialist CT is the knowledge expert for Computed Tomography solutions, supporting Account Managers (AMs) in driving overall business growth and providing deal support through strong clinical and technical CT expertise across customer accounts. To best support our customers, you will work closely with your Modality Sales Specialist (MSS) colleagues to cover the UK&I territory, with a potential focus on the North West, North East and Midlands. Regional ownership will be Key Account Manager aligned, and agreed in line with your own location and MSS colleagues to ensure a fair and even split of the UKI territory. As this is a working from home and field based role, travel is frequent.

Your role:
  • Working together with AMs, the Sales Specialist CT informs and advises customers on the latest CT technology innovations and associated configurations, including potential upgrades to the installed base. This helps address customer questions, improve satisfaction, and contribute to achieving sales targets.

  • Assists AMs with customer presentations focused on the clinical, operational, and technical components of the CT value proposition. Understands and addresses competitive positioning and marketing strategy for CT, and supports tender strategy, solution configuration, and quotation development where needed.

  • Supports the Account managers and District Managers in the achievement of business goals including balanced selling and BG/BIU AOP attainment and validating product forecasts.

  • Participates in defining and controlling the implementation of the business policy, pricing strategy and product/modality to be sold by the Business Unit in the region, according to established guidelines.

  • Partners with Marketing by providing input on sales tools, pricing considerations, market feedback, and competitive threats, enabling Marketing to better support the Sales Specialists and provide insight to the relevant business groups.

  • Prepares and delivers accurate monthly business forecasting through effective lead and opportunity management.

  • Monitors competition, customer needs, and changes in the CT market, providing effective feedback to Sales and Marketing, including suggestions for strengthening the CT portfolio and customer value proposition.

  • Drives continuous improvements via Lean.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
  • An appropriate and qualified clinical or technical background in Radiography, CT, or medical imaging. Ideally with 5+ years relevant experience.

  • You’ve acquired experience within medical device sales, ideally with CT products, systems, and associated clinical applications.

  • You’re an excellent communicator, with confidence to deliver presentations and develop internal and external stakeholder relationships at all levels.

  • You are a solution finder who is happy to work autonomously on competing deadlines in potentially pressured situations.

  • You hold a full UK driving license and willingness to travel.

Compensation & benefits

Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is £ 49,140.00 - £ 77,220.00. This role is eligible for a sales incentive with your rewards linked to key performance indicators and company results.  Benefits include a generous pension contribution, private healthcare, along with a range of flexible benefits and family friendly policies - be sure to speak to your recruiter about all the benefits on offer. Due to the role working in the healthcare environment, a standard DBS (Disclosure and Baring Service) criminal record check will be required for this role.

Skills Required

  • Qualified clinical or technical background in radiography, CT, or medical imaging
  • Relevant experience, ideally five or more years
