About the Role

We are seeking a Sales Specialist with a proven track record of delivering outstanding sales results and successfully closing major deals. This role is critical in driving the adoption of LSEG’s Analytics and AI solutions in Japan. You will focus on promoting innovative capabilities developed under LSEG’s AI strategy, including MCP-compliant Analytics API, Channel solutions, and Scaled Analytics. Partnering closely with clients, you will deliver transformative solutions that leverage advanced data, AI, and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• As part of the Analytics & AI Sales team, develop and execute go-to-market and sales strategies for LSEG Analytics and AI-driven solutions in Japan.

• Source and qualify new leads and drive sales of LSEG Analytics products across buy-side and sell-side segments.

• Enhance existing accounts and acquire new clients in Japan, expanding footprint and solution adoption.

• Collaborate with Account Management, Consulting, Product & Proposition, and an ecosystem of strategic technology partners to deliver integrated client solutions.

• Maintain a disciplined pipeline, forecast accurately, and consistently meet or exceed revenue and growth targets.

• Provide client feedback to business and product teams, shaping new use cases and solution roadmaps.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of solution sales experience in the financial services industry.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; postgraduate degree is a plus.

• Strong understanding of AI technologies and their application in financial workflows.

• Experience with AI-related platforms and tools; familiarity with leading ecosystems (e.g., Copilot Studio, Claude) is beneficial.

• Experience with data platforms and cloud ecosystems (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Azure).

• Experience with automation/RPA (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform, batch processing).

• Strong knowledge of financial markets (including broader fixed income and derivatives), securities risk analysis, investment workflows, and financial engineering.

• Extensive client network across buy-side and sell-side institutions.

• Proven track record in sales or business development within Japan’s financial services industry, particularly in technology or analytics.

• Strong ability to anticipate and interpret industry trends, emerging technologies, competitive dynamics, and evolving client needs.

• Proven ability to navigate complex negotiations and high-pressure situations—delivering mutually beneficial solutions while driving sustainable revenue growth and business expansion.

• Excellent presentation and product demonstration skills.

• Excellent communication skills in native-level Japanese and business-level English.
