Kpler's AI products are changing how commodity and maritime professionals access and interpret market intelligence. Through our AI surfaces, MCP server, which can be used within tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and enterprise copilots, and our AI Assistant embedded in the Kpler terminal, customers can ask questions in natural language and receive analysis grounded in Kpler data.

We are looking for a technically minded, customer-facing Sales Specialist – AI Products to support the adoption and growth of Kpler's AI offering globally. You will work closely with prospects and existing customers, demonstrating how our AI products can address their specific needs, integrate into their existing technology environments and deliver tangible commercial value.

Acting as the technical counterpart to our Commercial teams, you will lead customer demonstrations, design and deliver workshops, support integrations and help customers understand the capabilities, value and security of our AI products. You will also play an important role in shaping the AI product roadmap through direct customer feedback and market insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver discovery-led, tailored demonstrations of Kpler's AI Assistant and MCP server to prospective and existing customers, engaging stakeholders from analysts through to C-level executives.
  • Design and deliver hands-on customer workshops, identifying relevant use cases, developing tailored prompts and workflows, and supporting ongoing adoption through customer enablement.
  • Develop reusable workshop formats, demonstration materials and prompt libraries to support consistent customer engagement and product adoption.
  • Own the technical narrative around Kpler's MCP server, clearly explaining tool calling, authentication, single sign-on (SSO), integrations, data scoping and permissions, including how customer data is accessed and protected.
  • Support customers with integrating Kpler's MCP into their existing technology environments, including Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot Studio, internal agents, notebooks and BI platforms.
  • Work closely with Account Executives and Customer Success teams to support customer evaluations, trials and proof-of-concept engagements, helping address technical questions and remove barriers to adoption.
  • Support commercial discussions around AI product packaging, pricing and value propositions, building compelling ROI cases and confidently addressing customer objections.
  • Gather and communicate structured customer feedback to the AI Product team, identifying product gaps, technical blockers, integration challenges and opportunities to influence the product roadmap.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product and Marketing teams to resolve technical challenges, develop customer-facing content and support AI product education across the business.
  • Contribute to pipeline development through account and stakeholder mapping, opportunity qualification, industry events and customer engagement.

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years' experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, Technical Account Management or a technical analyst position with a strong commercial focus.
  • Hands-on experience with Large Language Model (LLM) products, including prompting, agentic workflows, tool calling and an understanding of model limitations and context management.
  • Strong API knowledge, including REST, authentication methods and rate limits, with the ability to read and troubleshoot technical documentation.
  • Comfortable using Python or notebooks to prototype demonstrations and explore technical use cases.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both technical audiences and senior business stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to articulate product value, support pricing discussions and build compelling business cases and ROI propositions.
  • Experience supporting technical integrations and working with cross-functional teams, including Product and Engineering.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • A proactive, curious and customer-focused approach, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical business value.
