Position Summary ​The Sales Specialist 2 (Ops) combines the skills of the Sales Specialist 1 Specialist and the skills of the Operations Specialist. 
This role executes the Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model and create a positive experience for our guests that keeps them coming back. This role is expected to achieve targeted Sales per Hour and adhere to standards on all KPIs. This role also ensures success in all guest interactions. This role will maintain the cash office and Counter, maintaining Standard Work of the Sales Specialist-1.

Position Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Execute the Guest Engagement Model, and the expected behaviors thereof, to meet or exceed Sales Per Hour {SPH} Thresholds.

  • Executes Sales Specialist-1 Standard work for Operations

  • Drive proficiency using Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model, connecting behaviors in the Guest Engagement Model to expected Sales outcomes

  • Self assess daily sales results and complete a monthly proficiency plan by utilizing the end of the month sales reporting tools and self-assessing personal strength and opportunities 

  • Perform all guest email follow-up and complete open Customer Relationship Management {CRM} Follow-up tickets.

  • Assist Store Leadership in resolving guest escalations, returns, exchanges and discounts, adhering to the guidelines of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

  • Process cash and check transactopns to exacting standards of payments SOP.  Process Synchrony and Concora manual payments, and credit card payments to strict SOP standards.  

  • Open and Close the Vault, ensuring compliance with the SOP, with paperwork precicely completed by required times for both Opening and Closing of the Vault

  • Maintain Guest Surveys for Sales and Cashier, at or above store goals for both metrics

  • Follow security policy set forth by Asset Protection, for the Cash Office, including but not limited to adhering to policies on access to the Cash Office and accuracy of transactions.

Qualifications

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. At least 1 year of retail experience in a direct customer interactive environment preferred.

1-2 year retail / sales / customer service experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have experience in Microsoft Office programs.  

Position Hiring Range

The hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire.  Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.  Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this page at any time. 

Compensation: $19.15 - $24.85

Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members.  Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy. Retail, Guest Services and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
