Reporting to the Senior Director, Sales Enablement, the Sales Solution Engineer is an Availity Products and Market SME providing support to the sales executives in obtaining new bookings. Both workflow and technical expertise during the sales process will be shared to ensure that the client's needs have been met and that the products are fully functioning according to specification. Solutions team members will also assist in demonstrating the ROI to prospects in order to promote and validate the superior performance of Availity Products.

What you will be doing:

  • Participating in numerous meetings, both internally and externally
  • Providing post-sales support through product demonstrations
  • Answering frequently asked questions, presentation follow-ups, etc.
  • Participating in discovery calls with new prospects
  • Collaboration with sales executives to create compelling sales presentations including collateral and presentation content
  • Supporting sales trainers

Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of 4 years of client facing solutions engineering or consulting experience
  • Are an amazing communicator and are comfortable presenting to all levels of an organization
  • Are experienced in sales, marketing, product management or solutions delivery of enterprise SaaS solution
  • You are passionate about technology, with an aptitude in high performance business to business transactions and willingness to stay up to date with technology
  • Have basic SQL skills
  • Have basic API understanding with webservices protocols
  • Have healthcare Payer or Provider experience
  • Have been in a Professional Services and/or Project Management role
  • Are comfortable with traveling, potentially 20%
  • Work comfortably in a matrixed environment
  • Have a whatever it takes mentality and willing to "wear numerous hats"
  • Prior experience with multiple platforms is a plus
  • With experience working for a technology or solutions consulting firm is a plus
  • Prior experience supporting Revenue Cycle or EDI solutions is a plus
