Job Purpose
Sales Representatives will be responsible for driving sales, supporting dealership partners, onboarding customers, and ensuring strong visibility of WATU products within their assigned regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and acquire new customers to meet sales and revenue targets.
- Execute approved activations and promotional activities.
- Communicate Watu Simu updates to dealerships and customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealership managers.
- Conduct market sensing and provide recommendations.
- Ensure accuracy in pricing, promotions, and competitor monitoring.
- Identify and support customer and dealer training needs.
- Resolve customer complaints and queries efficiently.
- Provide timely regional performance reports.
- Monitor store capacity, stock levels, and in-store pricing.
- Negotiate prime display space to enhance visibility.
- Ensure compliance with brand guidelines.
- Identify cross-merchandising opportunities.
- Supervise, train, and support direct reports.
- Execute effective route planning and coverage.
- Achievement of sales targets
- Achievement of onboarding targets
- Achievement of off-rate targets
- Timely submission of reports
- Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 2–4 years’ experience in sales, preferably in telecoms, retail, or device financing
- Technical knowledge of mobile phone models.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience in asset financing is an added advantage.
- High integrity in transactions.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Excellent sales and marketing abilities.
- Strong planning and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
