Job Purpose
Sales Representatives will be responsible for driving sales, supporting dealership partners, onboarding customers, and ensuring strong visibility of WATU products within their assigned regions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and acquire new customers to meet sales and revenue targets.
  • Execute approved activations and promotional activities.
  • Communicate Watu Simu updates to dealerships and customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealership managers.
  • Conduct market sensing and provide recommendations.
  • Ensure accuracy in pricing, promotions, and competitor monitoring.
  • Identify and support customer and dealer training needs.
  • Resolve customer complaints and queries efficiently.
  • Provide timely regional performance reports.
  • Monitor store capacity, stock levels, and in-store pricing.
  • Negotiate prime display space to enhance visibility.
  • Ensure compliance with brand guidelines.
  • Identify cross-merchandising opportunities.
  • Supervise, train, and support direct reports.
  • Execute effective route planning and coverage.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Achievement of sales targets
  • Achievement of onboarding targets
  • Achievement of off-rate targets
  • Timely submission of reports
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 2–4 years’ experience in sales, preferably in telecoms, retail, or device financing
  • Technical knowledge of mobile phone models.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in asset financing is an added advantage.
  • High integrity in transactions.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent sales and marketing abilities.
  • Strong planning and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
