We’re looking for a proactive, empathetic, and commercially curious Sales Representative to help nonprofits discover Goodstack GrantPilot.

Goodstack GrantPilot is built to give nonprofits access to the kind of fundraising support many teams could never normally afford. GrantPilot is the first step in that mission: combining smart technology, targeted funding research, and a concierge-led experience to help nonprofits find and pursue more relevant funding opportunities.

As a Sales Representative, your mission will be to:
  • Be the first human touchpoint for nonprofit leaders exploring Goodstack GrantPilot.

  • Engage, qualify, and nurture inbound nonprofit leads to understand their goals, funding needs, and readiness.

  • Lead thoughtful discovery conversations that uncover whether Goodstack can help each nonprofit access more relevant funding opportunities.

  • Bring the GrantPilot promise to life: helping nonprofits feel like they have a world-class fundraising team behind them, not just another tool to learn.

  • Conduct targeted funding research to identify, evaluate, and curate high-value opportunities tailored to each client’s profile.

  • Lead seamless customer onboarding meetings and build proactive relationships across the GrantPilot ecosystem.

  • Communicate through phone, email, and video with warmth, clarity, and commercial confidence.

  • Become fluent in our product, customer profile, and nonprofit funding landscape so you can connect needs to outcomes.

  • Collaborate with Product and Sales to improve onboarding, engagement, and the customer experience.

  • Maintain accurate data and activity tracking in HubSpot and our broader tech stack.

  • Share customer insights that help refine our sales process, product experience, and go-to-market motion.

  • Build and iterate the GrantPilot sales playbook, turning early experiments and customer insights into clear, repeatable processes.

  • Deliver a concierge-level experience from first touch to handover, making every interaction feel useful, tailored, and genuinely valuable.

After 3 months, success will look like:
  • Fluency in Goodstack GrantPilot, our nonprofit audience, and the funding challenges they face.

  • Consistently turning inbound interest into qualified conversations with nonprofits that are a strong fit.

  • Confidently running discovery conversations that uncover customer goals, constraints, funding needs, and readiness.

  • Having built a healthy pipeline of engaged nonprofit prospects and are progressing them with clear next steps.

  • Creating value before the sale by sharing relevant, thoughtful funding insights tailored to each nonprofit.

  • Supporting smooth onboarding conversations and setting customers up for a strong first experience.

  • Maintaining clean, accurate activity and pipeline data in HubSpot.

  • Sharing useful customer insights with Sales and Product to improve our go-to-market motion and customer experience.

This role is a perfect match for you if you have/are:
  • Based in or within commutable distance of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and are comfortable with regular in-person collaboration as part of the role.

  • 1+ year of professional experience in sales, support, fundraising, partnerships, or another customer-facing role.

  • Experience managing a high-volume pipeline and engaging prospects across phone, email, and video.

  • Strong discovery skills, with the ability to ask good questions, listen closely, and spot where we can genuinely help.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with attention to clarity, tone, and follow-through.

  • Strong research skills, with the ability to identify relevant funding opportunities and turn information into clear recommendations.

  • A customer-first mindset and the judgment to make every interaction feel useful, tailored, and human.

  • A self-starter mindset; comfortable with ambiguity, fast-paced change, and experimentation.

  • Commercial confidence, with the ability to balance empathy, pace, and clear qualification.

  • A genuine passion for helping nonprofits succeed and curiosity about technology, fundraising, and social impact.

  • An interest in how AI and technology can help small teams achieve more without losing the human touch.

Bonus if you have:
  • Experience in the nonprofit, fundraising, grant-writing, or social impact sector.

  • Previous sales experience in a SaaS, marketplace, or technology company.

  • Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM tools.

  • Experience researching grants, funding opportunities, or donor programmes.
