The Sales Representative should be an experienced professional that can identify, develop, and close new business opportunities through direct outreach and relationship building.  This role is focused on sourcing and negotiating equipment and inventory purchases from businesses, requiring a high level of initiative, communication skills, and deal making ability.  The ideal candidate is comfortable in working in a field-based environment, prospecting new opportunities, and engaging decision makers to uncover value.  Success in this role depends on the ability to build trust quickly, evaluate opportunities, and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.  This is a performance- driven position offering a competitive base salary with commission tied directly to results.  Candidates should have a proven background in sales, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently while managing a pipeline of opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Demonstrate the ability to assess each customer or client and build sustainable relationships
  • Seek out potential leads and have the ability to present compelling offers and influence customer decision-making
  • Continually making calls to, sending emails to, or visiting potential clients/customers
  • Demonstrate the ability and resilience to bounce back from challenges and maintain focus on the larger goal
  • Maintain call and email logs of customer contact information and potential hot leads
  • Develop meaningful relationships with customers and clients to encourage trust and loyalty
  • Initiate and follow up on cold and warm leads to further the sales and purchasing process
  • Understand and demonstrate the product or service to the customers and clients
  • Meet sales and purchasing goals and objectives set by leadership
  • Improve skills to increase sales and purchasing success rates
  • Track incentives and promotions issued to customers
  • Meet goals as outlined by management
  • Other tasks as assigned by management
  • Travel to other states

Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior sales experience
  • Valid Driver’s License (Real ID)

Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
  • Frequently moves boxes or parts weighing up to 75 pounds

Salary $50,000+ per year, dependent on experience, plus commission
