We are currently hiring a Sales Representative at our Champaign, IL location!
- Generates sales by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding, and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accounts.
- Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends and identifying sales opportunities.
- Develops sales opportunities by building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and identifying new revenue streams with Business Partners.
- Fills orders by entering orders in AS400 portal, communicating expected delivery date, and explaining back orders.
- Focus on new product placement and program execution with assigned territory.
- Develops accounts by checking customer's buying history, credit limits, suggesting related and new items, and explaining features, advantages, and benefits of Horizon proprietary and distributed brands.
- Maintains and improves brand performance by sharing feedback from Business partners.
- Updates job knowledge by studying new product spec sheets, attending weekly product training meetings and participating in educational opportunities designed to improve overall business knowledge.
- Accomplishes department and organization goals by focusing on company defined KPI's.
