About the role.
We are looking for a driven, entrepreneurial sales professional to join McCain's Foodservice team in Chicago. This is a unique opportunity to help build and grow a strategic direct sales market for one of the world's leading food companies. Reporting to the Director, Foodservice Sales, you will be responsible for accelerating growth, winning new business, strengthening distributor partnerships, and delivering innovative solutions that help Foodservice operators succeed. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, embrace technology and AI-enabled selling tools, and be energized by the opportunity to shape the future of McCain's Foodservice business in one of North America's most important markets.
What you'll be doing.
- Develop and execute territory growth plans to drive profitable sales growth.
- Identify white-space opportunities and secure new business within the Chicago Foodservice market.
- Build strategic partnerships with customers that support long-term growth and mutual success.
- Serve as the local face of McCain, strengthening relationships with operators, distributors, and industry partners.
- Leverage customer insights, market intelligence, and analytics to identify growth opportunities and create customer-specific solutions.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new account opportunities across targeted market segments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and sales activity data in Salesforce and other corporate systems.
- Track sales performance, manage budgets, and monitor progress against business objectives.
- Complete administrative responsibilities accurately and within required timelines.
- Utilize AI-enabled selling tools and digital technologies to enhance customer engagement and sales effectiveness.
What you'll need to be successful.
- Univeristy degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in Sales, Business Management, or a related field.
- Proven hunter mentality with a demonstrated track record of acquiring, developing, and growing customer relationships.
- Experience influencing independent operators and distributor partners.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and develop tailored growth strategies.
- Passion for building and growing businesses, not simply maintaining existing accounts.
- Embrace leveraging customer insights, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to drive business decisions.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and projects in a dynamic environment.
- Self-starter with a professional presence and a proven ability to deliver results.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

The Foodservice Sales team is focused on driving growth through strong customer partnerships, market expansion, and innovative solutions. Working closely with sales leadership, distributor partners, and Foodservice operators, this role plays a critical part in expanding McCain's presence in the Chicago market and delivering value to customers across the region.

Compensation Package : $58,800.00 - $78,500.00 . USD annually + Bonus eligibility
