We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Representative to represent Bachman’s product lines across both wholesale and retail channels. In this role, you will engage with prospective and existing clients to educate, generate leads, build strong relationships, and drive profitable sales. You’ll work with a diverse range of products, including hardscape materials, garden hard goods and bulk items. Additionally, you will provide coordination and direction in a non-supervisory capacity to support staff, playing a key role in advancing the success of our Wholesale and Retail Hardscape Center and Nursery Wholesale sales efforts.
Position Duties:
  • Direct and perform customer service and sales for Wholesale products.
    • Including design, product needs, estimating, product selections, invoicing, follow up, coordination of returns, and delivery coordination.
  • Receive, book and acknowledge called-in orders.
  • Service both retail and wholesale customers.
  • Perform clerical support duties and record keeping for sales, service, and purchasing.
  • Assist in maintaining and upkeep of store front in a neat, organized manner.
  • Represent Bachman’s at Trade Shows and other promoting services, this may require overnight travel.
  • Pulling orders, samples, product loading and unloading as needed or time allows.
  • Projects or a particular area of work. Existing examples include things such as logistics, marketing, buying or other ongoing activates needed to support Wholesale/Retail sales or operations.

Qualifications:
  • Two- year associate degree or two-year hardscape sales, design, and/or installation experience required or two years of related work experience including one year of Wholesale sales, design, and/or installation experience
  • One year supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills required
  • Working knowledge of hardscape materials required
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and persuasive communication skills required
  • Strong math skills required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate ability to work as a team player
  • Bobcat, forklift, and utility loader skills and experience a plus
  • ICPI, NCMA, PICPI certification preferred
  • Ability to do blueprint takeoffs preferred

Compensation: $60-$65k
