We are hiring for a Sales Supervisor for the Outbound Calling Sales Team who will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Aftermarket Sales Representatives designated across regional clusters.
The primary focus of this role is to ensure effective supervision of sales activities, adherence to the sales process, and the implementation of strategies designed to maximize customer engagement and drive sales growth.
This position involves hands-on people management, CRM oversight, performance monitoring, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Supervision:
- Directly manage 5-10 Aftermarket Sales Representatives, providing daily oversight and support
- Ensure each sales representative meets performance metrics, including making a minimum of 20 calls per day
- Conduct a minimum of two site visits per year to each team member to provide in-person guidance and support
- Facilitate ongoing training and development in collaboration with the Sales Operations team
- Sales Process & Strategy Execution:
- Supervise and ensure adherence to the sales process as outlined by organizational standards
- Develop, implement, and oversee calling strategies aimed at increasing customer touches and generating sales leads
- Monitor and adjust strategies based on performance data and market conditions
- CRM Management:
- Maintain and ensure compliance with CRM systems, including conducting regular opportunity and activity audits
- Develop and manage CRM dashboards to track sales metrics and performance indicators
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting within the CRM system
- Performance Monitoring:
- Supervise key performance indicators (KPIs) and create action plans to address any performance issues
- Analyze monthly sales forecasts for assigned regions and adjust strategies as needed to meet targets
- Interdepartmental Coordination:
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Inside Sales, AM ASEs, FF ASEs, IG Sales Teams) to streamline sales processes and resolve issues
- Address and resolve escalated conflicts, both internal and external, to ensure smooth operations.
- Travel & Meetings:
- Travel to Donaldson locations for sales meetings, team support, and alignment activities as required
- Conduct site visits for performance assessments and team engagement
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
- Proven experience in a sales supervisory role, ideally within an outbound calling environment or a similar sales context
- Fluent English, other languages would be an asset (the more, the better)
- Strong commercial and sales orientation with a proven track record of achieving results
- Technical skills and product knowledge to support team members
- Proficiency in CRM systems and data analysis, with the ability to develop and maintain dashboards
- Exceptional leadership, people management, and conflict resolution capabilities
- Ability to thrive in a diverse, multi-regional environment; multilingual skills are advantageous
- Effective communication skills are critical for interacting with various teams and resolving conflicts
- Demonstrated ability to embody and apply the ONE DONALDSON mindset in decision-making and team interactions
