A Day in the LifeTo support our Surgical Innovations Business in Saudi Arabia, we are currently looking for a full-time, customer-oriented Sales Representative – Spine, with excellent communication skills and a natural ability to identify business opportunities. This is a great opportunity for a professional with strong relationship management skills and solid commercial experience within the medical device industry.
We offer you a position where you will present and sell Medtronic Spinal and Biologics products and services to current and potential clients within the assigned territory in Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for meeting or exceeding established sales targets while representing the company in accordance with its policies and standards. The role requires maintaining awareness of local competitive conditions and promptly reporting relevant market insights to the District Manager. The main purpose of this role is to sell and support a range of Medtronic Spine products while driving clinical adoption and ensuring optimal product usage in hospitals and surgical centers.

Responsibilities may include the following (and other duties may be assigned):

  • Achieving agreed targets focused on sales growth.
  • Making field sales calls, soliciting orders, and promoting assigned Medtronic Spinal and Biologics products.
  • Presenting, providing in-service training, and selling products and services to current and potential clients.
  • Supporting and advising physicians and clinical staff on the correct and safe use of Medtronic devices.
  • Leading clinical selling activities within the assigned territory.
  • Identifying sales prospects and contacting new and existing accounts as assigned.
  • Preparing action plans and scheduling activities to identify specific targets and project the number of contacts to be made.
  • Following up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activities.
  • Interacting with purchasing managers and hospital administrators to negotiate and establish broader sales contracts.
  • Monitoring local market trends and competitor activity and reporting insights to the District Manager.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Spine business.
  • Ortho or Operating Room (O.R.) experience is advantageous.
  • 1 year of Medtronic Neuroscience (Pain, Brain, or Spine) Clinical Specialist or Sales Representative I experience plus 2 years of prior clinical or medical sales experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record in sales within the medical device or healthcare sector.
  • Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of people and personalities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Advanced presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • High motivation, enthusiastic attitude, and comfort with change and growth.
