As an Account Manager for Molecular Spectroscopy at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you have the remarkable chance to create a real-world impact. The Vibrational Spectroscopy business includes FTIR, NIR and Raman spectroscopy from entry level table-top instruments, production process supervising equipment to highly sophisticated R&D and microscopy solutions.
Your Responsibilities:
- Represent our company in a positive, professional manner in all dealings with Thermo Fisher Scientific customers, both external and internal.
- Conduct and support product presentations at customer sites, Thermo Fisher labs, or online.
- Actively handle your funnel of sales opportunities by CRM compliance and sales forecast calls.
- Be responsible for the sales process from pre- to after-sales support and build strong, long-term relationships with your customers.
- Participate in trade fairs and coordinate workshops, seminars, and related events.
- Report market trends and customer requirements into the organization.
Your Qualification:
- Bachelor or university degree in chemistry, physics, or related field.
- Working experience in industrial B2B field sales is helpful.
- Alternatively, working experience in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry or laboratory equipment business.
- Additional experience with SFDC is an asset.
- Knowledge in Vibrational Spectroscopy.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, both written and oral.
- Proficient in German and business English; proficiency in French and/or Italian is an asset.
- Customer focus, intercultural competence, and a professional demeanor.
- Pro-active attitude and hands-on mentality.
- Willingness to travel in the region, approximately 50% of the time.
- Valid driver's license.
