A Day in the LifeResponsible for Neuromodulation business specifically Pain therapyThe Sales Representative III is responsible for driving growth of the Neuromodulation business, with a specific focus on Pain Therapy, within the assigned market. This role will lead sales efforts to introduce and expand Pain Therapy in the country by building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, distributors, and other key stakeholders. The individual will work independently to develop customer accounts, execute market development strategies, deliver product education, and achieve or exceed sales targets.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Promotes and sells Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.
Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services.
Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services.
Conducts market research including customers and competitor's activities.
Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.
Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent with 8+ years of relevant experience
OR Associate’s Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience
OR Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience
Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
Proven ability to achieve sales targets and grow customer accounts
Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Experience managing customer relationships, negotiating effectively, and closing sales
Strong business acumen and ability to assess market opportunities and customer needs
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed
Experience in Neuromodulation, Pain Therapy, or other highly specialized medical device therapies
Experience launching or introducing new therapies or products in a market
Knowledge of healthcare systems, hospital sales processes, and distributor management
Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders across multiple levels
Experience supporting physician education and therapy adoption
