Sales Representative - IDC & Projects: JL3
Maersk is seeking a commercially driven and customer-focused Sales Representative– IDC & Projects to support the growth of our International Development Cargo (IDC) and Project Logistics business across Cameroon, Chad, and the Central African Republic.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth through business development, strategic account management, tender participation, and solution selling. You will work closely with humanitarian organizations, NGOs, government institutions, and project cargo customers to deliver integrated logistics solutions across complex and challenging supply chains.

Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Growth
Deliver revenue, volume and profitability targets.
Build and convert a strong sales pipeline through proactive customer engagement.
Identify, pursue and close new business opportunities.
Drive wallet share growth within existing accounts
Strategic Account Management
Manage and grow key customer relationships.
Develop account plans and customer growth strategies.
Conduct regular customer business reviews and executive engagement sessions.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Tender & Opportunity Management
Lead commercial participation in tenders, RFQs and contract renewals.
Coordinate pricing, product and operations teams to deliver winning customer solutions.
Build compelling value propositions and competitive commercial offers.
Solution Selling:
Promote Maersk's integrated logistics capabilities including:
Ocean Freight
Inland Transportation
Customs House Brokerage
Warehousing
Air Freight & Air CHB
Multimodal Logistics
Project Logistics Solutions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Operations, Product, Customer Experience, Pricing and Finance teams.
Support successful implementation and execution of customer solutions.
Drive service excellence across key corridors, particularly Cameroon-Chad-CAR flows.
Who We Are Looking For
Someone With:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
5+ years commercial experience in logistics, freight forwarding or supply chain.
Proven track record in business development and account management.
Experience with humanitarian, NGO, government or project logistics customers is advantageous.
Strong commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
