Job Description:

• Communicates with existing customers and manages accounts to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintains existing business by developing and presenting value propositions to existing customers.
• Partners with colleagues in functional areas, including but not limited to Production, Customer Service, Accounts Receivable, and Logistics, to provide the best customer service possible.
• Interacts with and assists sales managers and/or directors to achieve sales goals.
• Creates detailed price quotes.
• Creates and delivers presentations to internal and external customers, along with samples and prototypes.
• Completes and updates sales-related paperwork and reporting systems.
• Maintains relationships with plants that service customers in the assigned territory, product area, or accounts.
• May solicit requests for quotes.
• May execute re-pricing action for underperforming accounts when necessary.
• May interface with plants to determine lost and new customer opportunities (e.g., customer segment, value propositions).
• Performs other duties as assigned. 

Education and Experience 

• Typically possesses a Bachelor's degree
• Must have at least 4-8 years of experience in Adhesives Sales.

Knowledge and Skills 

• Possesses solid sales experience in adhesives required.
• Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills.
• Possesses excellent time management and planning skills.
• Possesses analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to increase and maintain current book of business and perform cold customer calls and follow up on leads.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills.
• Local Travel is required throughout the northern and western regions of Cincinnati, OH.

Compensation Range:

The pay range for this position is $81,800.00 - $139,200.00. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between $100,000.00 to $115,000.00. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
