How you will impact the organization
The Account Executive, Customer Base role is a key sales position within our organization that is responsible for the growth, expansion and brand diversification of our established base of SMB and enterprise level accounts.
The value you will deliver
- Identify revenue expansion and new business opportunities inside your assigned account base through add-ons and cross-selling new brands, security enhancements and new-to-market AI and healthcare specific SaaS.
- Negotiate long-term contracts (36-60 months) with existing month-month clients with an increase in monthly recurring revenue.
- Ongoing data analysis to identify time-to-strike opportunities and save potential cancellations.
- Collaborate with Account Managers, Sales Engineers, Legal, Product and Marketing to coordinate large-deal strategies, sales campaigns/promotions and pipeline fulfillment.
- Your primary objectives will align to critical KPIs and quota attainment.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested. Consensus reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
What you will bring to the table
- 5+ years of experience in account management and revenue development
- 5+ years experience in B2B sales
- 5+ years of experience using Salesforce (or other CRM)
- 2+ years of experience presenting to department leaders via phone and video conference
- 1+ years of experience with SaaS/UCaas platforms
- Intermediate to advanced level Excel skills (ie. pivot tables, v-lookups, charts/graphs)
- A competitive and collaborative mentality
- Creative resourcefulness with a persistent drive to exceed quotas
- Exceptionally strong skills in relationship selling
- Ability to clearly demonstrate effective business communication skills verbally and in writing to both internal and external stakeholders
You will stand out if you also have
- 5+ years of experience selling in healthcare vertical
- Experience negotiating and/or working with government contracts
- Subject matter expert of technical SaaS platforms with respect to the value proposition
Additional details
- Location requirements: This is a fully remote, U.S. based role (with preference to those in the Los Angeles, Las Vegas or Braintree, MA areas)
- Travel requirements: Up to 10% travel
- Physical requirements: Must be able to sit for long periods, as well as, handle long periods of screen time.
- Technology requirements: Reliable, high speed internet
- Work Authorization: This position is not eligible for sponsorship
The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $70,000 USD + commission. The total compensation package for this position is negotiable and may also include [annual performance bonus, ESPP, enhanced time off packages and benefits.]
