Sales Order Processor - Contract

The role of Sales Order Processor is in our Midsomer Norton office with some flexibility for Hybrid working. 

Working with our Transceivers Department you as our Sales Order Processor will be a key colleague and often the first point of contact in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently from order through to despatch. As our Sales Order Processor
you will work closely with colleagues in finance, logistics, warehouse and sales, along with our customers and dealers based in the Americas and EMEA regions of the world. 

Key Responsibilities Sales Order Processor (not exhaustive):

• Order Management: Entering and processing customer orders accurately using our ERP or MRP system.
• Cross-Department Coordination: Liaising with production, warehousing, purchasing, and logistics teams to track stock availability and lead times
• Customer Support: Acting as the point of contact for customer updates, delivery schedules, resolving queries and monitoring order progress and provide updates
• Documentation: Raising works orders, pick lists, and dispatch paperwork, ensuring all are accurate and maintained in accordance with company procedures
• Ad-Hoc: Assist with stock and other administration related requirements of the department

Requirements - Sales Order Processor (not exhaustive):

• ESSENTIAL - Previous experience in a sales order processing, order administration, sales support, internal account management or similar role
  
• Knowledge of working across various global time zones and currencies - Dollars, Euros and Sterling would be beneficial
• Experience using ERP/MRP Systems and all Microsoft Packages
• Excellent attention to detail with strong administration and organisational skills
• Experience in the engineering, manufacturing, telecoms or logistics sector would prove highly beneficial
• Excellent English language written and verbal 
  
• Commercial awareness and customer-focused thinking

• Highly-motivated, pro-active and able to manage your own workload
  
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
