As our Sales Operations Specialist, you will use your customer focus, business acumen, and technical aptitude to support sales, project execution, manufacturing plants & external customers. This position will primarily focus on complex order entry, ownership of OEM aftermarket orders and deliveries, change orders, and have a diverse range of responsibilities to support Donaldson Power Generation customers. Ideal candidates for this role will be able to work a hybrid schedule at our Bloomington, MN headquarters office.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Processing complex, technical equipment orders and change orders to support the Small Turbine business within Power Generation.

  • Oversee OEM aftermarket orders from customer PO receipt to delivery through regular communication with our warehouse and plants.

  • Tracking of shipments and closing out of orders

  • Compile delivery confirmation dates for new orders and participate in weekly customer calls to review order status.

  • Exhibiting excellent communication, both written & verbal.

  • Utilize reporting tools to compile Key Performance Indicators.

  • Participate in planning activities, including stocking strategies.

  • Maintaining high levels of process efficiency and data quality.

  • Showing the ability to retain information and work in a fast paced/high volume environment.

  • Prioritize workload as working in different programs and working with a variety of different groups within the company.

  • Respond promptly to customer inquires via phone or email.

Travel: Up to 5%

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of sales operations or equivalent experience

  • Associate’s degree or higher

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Distribution environment

  • Strong organization skills, detail-oriented

  • Experience with Oracle and MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook primarily)

  • Ability to adapt and pivot properly, especially in high-pressure situations

  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and building positive relationships

  • Demonstrated experience as a proactive problem solver

  • Ability to prioritize and stay on task

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and follow-through on work assigned

  • Ability and interest in working with global team
