Job Title: Sales Operations Specialist

Location: Mumbai / Gurgaon

Type of role: Contractual

Reports to: Finance Manager

Job Summary: The Sales Operations Specialist will be responsible for invoicing and revenue recognition. This person shall play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our CRM tools and contract lifecycle management processes. This role requires deep expertise in Salesforce and accounting software (Workday). The specialist will ensure accurate contract entry, support non-contract invoicing, and develop repeatable systems to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Invoicing and revenue recognition relating to specific streams of revenue
  • Review client documentation to ensure accuracy in contract entry into the accounting system (WorkDay) across all the business segments with the Company
  • Collaborate with Business Units to support non-contract invoicing
  • Develop a functional understanding of data integration tools to assist in processing revenue transactions related to live events
  • Support new processes and build repeatable systems to achieve efficiencies of scale

Knowledge of CRM Tools:

  • Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) by building knowledge on the features of Salesforce and more specifically on the functionality of Salesforce that impacts revenues.
  • Develop proficiency in the Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) platform and understand its data impacts on the accounting software (WorkDay).

Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Support:

  • Acquire working knowledge of CLM and understand its impact on processing and queues.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant requirements and controls.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Post Graduate degree in Finance with minimum 5 years of experience in revenue management
  • Working Knowledge of contracting principles and CLM a plus
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, organized, flexible
  • Able to set priorities and manage high volume of requests
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Excel
  • Knowledge of WorkDay: Customer Invoices, Customer Contracts, Revenue Recognition or similar experience a plus
  • Knowledge of Salesforce experience a plus
