This role is part of the Sales Operations - Sales Compensation Team.
Job Description
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Act as the Sales Incentive Manager for Motorola Solutions' Oracle-based incentive compensation tool (OIC) in support of specific NA sales and sales support employees that are on Motorola’s Sales Incentive Plans (“SIP”)
- Drive process and business enhancements such as: (1) participating in technical roadmap improvements to the OIC tool and any other systems and tools it is integrated with; (2) execute all required SIP design changes in the OIC compensation tool/system in order to reflect changes in business strategy or organization; (3) in conjunction with your Sales Operations and Finance business partners, devise & implement better ways to automate the sales crediting/assignment process for the sales teams you manage
- Proficiency and experience in the design & oversight of sales compensation plans and sales crediting rules in the Oracle environment preferred but not required
- Co-manage all elements of sales compensation planning, administration, field support, & quarterly processing of incentive payments for a subset of the North America sales organization and act as a liaison to the field for any incentive related questions; Provide SIP training sessions as needed
- Coordinate, validate, and gather all relevant business goals results from work partners in Sales Operations, Finance, and HR in order to efficiently and accurately pay all Sales incentives
- Provide timely and relevant customized reporting, metrics, and analysis to senior sales leaders and the director of sales compensation; Robust statistical analytical skills a plus but not required
- Ensure all business Governance & Audit guidelines on SIP design are consistently followed and implemented in OIC for all incentive participants
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- Experience in one or more of the following preferred: Sales Operations, Business Operations, or Finance
- Business experience and knowledge of sales compensation design, administration, and processing preferred, but not required; Finance background a plus
- Ability to successfully adapt and perform in a rapidly changing, fast paced business environment; Effective communications skills across all levels of the organization, and strong analytical capabilities a must
- This position can be remotely based in the United States or at the Motorola Solutions North America Sales HQ in Chicago, IL.
